The subsequent result of such a cumbersome process is that the HR-manager cannot work as efficiently. For such a simple task, the work load is excessively high and time-consuming. Besides, leave request can just as easily be handled by the employee and their manager. When it is up to the HR-manager to mediate at every simple request, everyone has to deal with the delay. For instance, that one employee, desperately waiting to hear back from his/her leave request, will also be left waiting for feedback.

Choosing to use a clear overview in which leave requests are shown is much faster, and will make the lives of your entire personnel easier. Approving requests is a much faster process, and rejecting them is much easier. After all, employees can simply see for themselves when many of colleagues are going to be absent.
